A complete pre-op history and physical with blood test (EKG and chest x-ray for those over 40) is done before surgery. Less than one patient per year is rejected due to unhealthy findings, but that is why we have a perfect safety record.

Dr. Foster has kept control of clinic overhead without affecting safety for more than 40 years.

He was one of the first plastic surgeons to perform out-patient plastic surgery in San Francisco in 1968.

He was the first plastic surgeon to seek and obtain an operating room safety inspection by senior surgeons. The JCAHO certified operating room saves over $1500 per patient in overhead expenses.

He was trained in anesthesia and has performed his own IV sedation/field block local anesthesia for 40 years with a perfect safety record. This saves another $1500 per patient in overhead expenses. These savings are passed along to the patient.

After more than 40 years of practice, Dr. Foster’s well-honed operating room crew has fine tuned surgery to eliminate wasted time. They can perform 3 breast augmentation surgeries in the time other plastic surgeons take to do one. Therefore, they can charge half of what the competition charges and still make more before going to lunch. This also improves safety, since the majority of complications nation-wide occur after 2 or more hours of surgery. Breast implants by any of five different approaches take only about 30 minutes.

Drs. Foster and Breyer will come to your motel room twice after every procedure. A single over-night stay after surgery is recommended for all out-of-town patients.

Drs. Foster and Breyer recommend post-op visits at 1, 3, 6, and 12 weeks post-op. There is no charge for follow-up care, but hugs are accepted.

Un-accompanied patients are chauffeured to and from the motel, or for $100 per night, the registered nurse will stay overnight and provide very personal TLC.

Any revision that can improve the result is performed without charge. Change of size is done without a surgeon’s fee.

A toll-free nation-wide 800 number is maintained for the convenience of our patients. Post-op patients are given the doctor's personal cell-phone number. That number is answered by the doctor all night long.
