Reliability Factor of the Imported Extra Large Breast Implants

Dr. Foster performs extra large breast implants on patients in Las Vegas and other locations, in addition to the Tahoe Clinic. However, obtaining the extra large silicone gel implants remains a challenge for the patients. Euro Silicone, the major manufacturer of large silicone gel implants, has stopped producing sizes over 1000 cc. There is PIP in the Rivera part of France and Seban near Paris that make implants up to 1500 cc in size. But the larger ones have to come from Brazil, and a new manufacturing company in China.

Dr. Foster has personally visited the two factories in France and reviewed their quality control systems. He is satisfied with the quality of the implants, and believes that it is at par with the quality standards followed in the United States. However, he hopes that the new US Administration will relax the restrictions on the import of prescription devices such as breast implants, making life easier for American patients.
