Risks of the Extra Large Breast Augmentation

Dr. Foster has performed several extra large breast augmentation surgeries in Sacramento, apart from ‘that’, Dr. Foster has ‘also’ performed extra large breast augmentation surgeries on patients in Las Vegas and other locations, ‘in addition to’ the Tahoe clinic. In Dr. Foster’s view, extra large breast augmentation does not really carry any added risks other than weight increase. He has not seen any frequent complications that may be exceptionally associated with these patients. He has, however, seen one or two cases where the patients wanted to reduce the breast size later on because they found it hard to buy suitable clothing. But there have been no serious cases of infection, bleeding or dangerous blood clotting in Dr. Foster’s experience. Such added risks are negligible in his opinion.

However, some minor disadvantages of extra large breast implants may be restrictions in physical movement, or limited participation in certain sports or physical activities. These may be minor hindrances in lifestyle, and may not be construed as risks of surgery. If the operating surgeon is skilled and experienced to handle extra large breast augmentation, the chances of anything going wrong are naturally minimized. The surgeon will choose only the appropriate candidates for such a surgery, and agree to an augmented size that suits the patient without causing any negative side effects to the patient’s general health and well-being.
